Observation Narrative ? Directions to plot: Take Park Loop Rd to Oak Ridge Campground. At campground take dirt road to right of caretakers house (need permit for access). Plot is located on the left side (south) near the dirt road in upland oak-heath stand. See form for sketch of plot configuration. Upland oak/ heath with Quercus montana dominating overstory and much Quercus montana low shrub regeneration. Type differs from other oak/ heath stands with the presence of high Quercus montana and also more Vaccinium cover than Gaylussacia bacc.
